What exactly is Memo Vault?

Memo Vault is an application designed for people who keep a diary, journal, business log or any other type of day to day notes or records. Our motivation for creating Memo Vault was based on our desire for an easy-to-use and neat but still powerful diary keeping application. We ran quite a few searches on the internet but ended up with nothing that met the specs we demanded. We found a lot of bulky programs that tried to provide more features than they could properly implement. They are cluttered, confusing and complicated. This made us wonder: ?Isn’t there a better way??

Yes, in fact there was a better way. We made our own and now we are selling it so more people can enjoy the results of our meticulous engineering. The interface is intuitively set up and not the least bit cluttered. You can enjoy strong, 168 bit encryption as simply as setting a password. Then you can take advantage of the search capabilities which will help you find anything in your diary, from a whole sentence to one little word. The date filtering will allow you to show only the entries you made during a certain period of time. We are offering it to you now, a diary keeping application that does what you expect it to and hides the technical jargon beneath a beautifully crafted surface. People who are not very computer literate can finally enjoy writing their diary on a Pocket PC.

Easy Management

Adding entries is easy in Memo Vault. When you open the program and there is no entry for today yet, Memo Vault will create it for you automatically, you can start typing away immediately. Saving the new data is even easier. When you are finished typing, you just close the program, your changes will be saved automatically. Throughout the application, these and other small features make it almost seem like your device is reading your mind. All those features may seem small but they add up to give you a brand new experience! It’s almost like the application is encouraging you to make today’s entry and this may compel you to write more often.

Superb Security

Memo Vault can help keep your diary very secure. When you password protect a diary, Memo Vault will automatically encrypt your data before saving it to the file. Your password is never saved anywhere. As a result, if you use a complicated password, your data will be safe even your device is stolen or lost. If you forget your password, you won''t be able to open your diary anymore either.

Import and Export

When you feel like printing your diary or moving it to a different format, try the export feature. Memo Vault can convert your whole diary to a text file (*.txt) format, which is supported by all word processing applications.

Likewise, if you have been keeping a diary elsewhere, it can be imported to the (*.vault) format that Memo Vault uses. Before it can be imported, you need to have the existing diary in a (*.txt) format and it has to meet several formatting requirements.
